Alaska Airlines to Begin Daily Seattle to Philly, Ft. Lauderdale Flights
Alaska Airlines is launching two new routes this summer. Starting June 11, the carrier is scheduled to begin new nonstop daily service between Seattle and Philadelphia. In addition, daily nonstop service between Seattle and Fort Lauderdale will start July 16.
The new flights will use Boeing 737-800 aircraft. With the launch of the new Ft. Lauderdale service, Alaska Airlines will discontinue its flights between Seattle and Miami.

US Airways to Increase Washington, D.C. Flights
Beginning March 25, US Airways will add flights between 11 new destinations and Washington Reagan National Airport, and will also boost service between three existing destinations and the airport.
New domestic destinations include Birmingham, Islip, Little Rock, Jacksonville, Memphis, and Tallahassee, while, internationally, US Airways will add service to Ottawa. ANA to Launch 787 Dreamliner Routes to San Jose and Seattle
San Jose and Seattle will be the first destinations in the United States to see the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. ANA, the aircraft’s launch carrier, will begin service from Tokyo’s Narita airport to both locations some time in 2012.
ANA will be the only airline operating a San Jose-Tokyo route.

JetBlue and Singapore Airlines Partnership Announced
JetBlue Airways and Singapore Airlines announced an interline agreement that allows passengers to book a single ticket for flights to and from the U.S. to Frankfurt, Singapore, and connecting destinations. Passengers will have a single check-in for their flights and bags will be automatically transferred at the connecting airport.
