Alaska Airlines, Virgin America to Relocate to JFK’s Terminal 7

Alaska Airlines and Virgin America announced that the two carriers plan to move their operations at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Terminal 7. Alaska currently operates out of Terminal 8, while Virgin operates out of the airport’s Terminal 4.

Alaska Airlines to Retire Virgin America Brand, Merge Frequent Flyer Programs, Open New Lounges

Alaska Airlines, which acquired Virgin America late last year, said that it plans to operate solely under the Alaska brand.
The Virgin America brand will be retired “likely sometime in 2019,” the airline said in a blog post. The move follows months of consideration and interviews with customers.
