Virgin America Reports Slight Increase in March Traffic

Virgin America announced operational results for March 2014.
System traffic for the airline in March was 813 million revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, a 2.2% increase from 795 million for the same period last year.
Virgin America’s capacity for March also increased 2.7% to 967 million available seat miles, or ASMs, from 942 million for the same period last year.

Virgin America to Launch Additional Flight Between San Francisco, Austin

Virgin America announced it will add a second daily flight to its existing San Francisco, California-Austin, Texas, service beginning July 8.  The additional flight will operate through September 6, 2014.
Flights will depart Austin-Bergstrom International Airport at 9:20 a.m. and arrive at San Francisco International Airport at 11:05 a.m.  Flights from San Francisco to Austin will depart at 3:30 p.m. and arrive at 9:05 p.m.
