SkyTeam announced plans to open a new lounge at Vancouver International Airport later this year.
The facility will be the airline alliance’s first lounge in North America.
The lounge will be available to first and business-class travelers, as well as Elite Plus-passengers on any of SkyTeam’s nine member airlines that operate at the airport. Airline alliance SkyTeam announced the opening of a new lounge at Dubai International Airport. The lounge is located at the airport’s Concourse D in Terminal 1.
The new lounge is over 10,333 square feet (960 square meters), and has seating for 180 passengers. Complimentary hot and cold snacks, which SkyTeam says represents the cuisines of its member airlines that operate in Dubai, are available within.

Delta to Move Operations at Shanghai-Pudong, Codeshare with Shanghai Airlines

Delta Air Lines announced that it plans to move operations from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 of Shanghai-Pudong International Airport on April 13.  The move will put the carrier in the same terminal as its codeshare partner and fellow SkyTeam member China Eastern Airlines, as well as that airline’s subsidiary, Shanghai Airlines.  Delta will begin a codeshare with Shanghai Airlines once the transition is complete.
