United Airlines announced that it expanded its existing codeshare agreement with Air China.
Under the expansion, United will be allowed to place its code on 10 domestic Air China-operated flights, including service from Beijing to Mianyang, Taiyuan, Sanya, Shanghai Hongqiao, Yinchuan, Xining, Liuzhou, Haikou, and Lanzhou, as well as service from Shanghai Pudong to Yinchuan.

Air China announced that it has replaced its Boeing 777-300ERs with its Boeing 747-8 Intercontinental aircraft on its Beijing-San Francisco route.
