Norwegian to Launch Service from U.S. to Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan

Norwegian Air announced plans to launch four new routes to Europe from the United States next year.
On May 7, the carrier will begin flights to Amsterdam from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. The service will operate four times a week.

Lufthansa, Austrian, and Swiss to Add More Short-Haul Flights

Following the demise of Air Berlin and Lufthansa’s acquisition of many of its assets, the Frankfurt-based carrier announced plans to significantly increase its domestic flying this winter.
Lufthansa said that it increased its capacity on many routes by 25%, and some major routes will see a 60% increase.
These increases include an additional 14 weekly flights between Frankfurt and Düsseldorf, as well as seven extra weekly flights between Frankfurt and Berlin.
