New York to Offer $2,000 Rebate for Electric Vehicle Purchases

Beginning April 1, New York State will offer a rebate of up to $2,000 to buyers of electric vehicles.
The rebate will be available to those who purchase a battery-only electric vehicle, a plug-in electric hybrid, or a fuel-cell electric vehicle. This will include vehicles such as the BMW i3 and i8, the Chevrolet Bolt, and all Tesla vehicles.

A lightning strike at New York’s LaGuardia Airport burned a hole in one of the airport’s runways, causing numerous flight delays Wednesday morning.
