New York City Enacts Cap on Uber and Lyft Drivers

New York City will place a one-year cap on new vehicle licenses for ride-hailing services such as Uber and Lyft. The measure was approved by the New York City Council on Wednesday.
The Big Apple will become the first city in the United States to take such a step, which will go into effect once signed by Mayor Bill de Blasio.

Amtrak unveiled the interiors of its new Acela Express fleet on Wednesday.
The new interiors will feature leather seating, integrated in-seat lighting and electrical outlets as well as USB ports.  Each seat will have a tray table with both a large and small table option.
The trains will be capable of traveling at 160 mph (258 km/h) and will have 30% greater capacity for passengers.

United Airlines announced plans to offer thrice-weekly non-stop service between Washington, D.C. and Tel Aviv next year.

Sixt Rent-a-Car, in partnership with Cadillac, announced on Tuesday the opening of its first New York City location.
