American Airlines to Launch New Route Between Dallas/Fort Worth and Beijing

American Airlines announced it plans to begin new service between Dallas/Fort Worth and Beijing next summer.  The carrier filed an application with the U.S. Department of Transportation, and is currently awaiting government approval.
Once the service is approved, American will become the first carrier to offer non-stop flights between the two cities.

Air Canada to Launch Amsterdam, Venice, Osaka Service

Air Canada announced it will begin flying to Amsterdam from Toronto next June.  The carrier also said that it will begin new Air Canada rouge flights between Montreal and Venice, as well as between Vancouver and Osaka next summer.
The airline’s new Toronto-Amsterdam service will operate up to six times a week using Boeing 767-300ER planes.  Flights will begin on June 4, and will operate year-round.

Aeromexico to Begin Monterrey-JFK Flights

Aeromexico announced it will launch new, non-stop service between Monterrey and New York City on December 8.  The service will operate daily, using Embraer 190 aircraft.
Flights will depart from New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport at 3:00 p.m. and arrive at Monterrey International Airport at 7:17 p.m.  From New York, flights will depart at 8:50 a.m. and arrive in Monterrey at 1:51 p.m.

Air China announced that it will add a second daily flight to its Beijing-London Heathrow service on October 26.  The additional flight will operate using Airbus A330-200 aircraft and the carrier will also begin using A330-200s on its other flight connecting the two cities as of October 26.

Alaska Airlines announced the launch of new daily, non-stop service between Seattle and Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The service operates using a Boeing 737-800.
Flights from Seattle depart at 10:55 a.m. and arrive in Albuquerque at 2:50 p.m.  From Albuquerque, flights depart at 3:45 p.m. and arrive in Seattle at 5:45 p.m.

Delta Air Lines announced plans Tuesday to launch a new route connecting Los Angeles, California with San Antonio, Texas.

Norwegian Air Shuttle announced that next spring it will begin new service to Orlando from both Copenhagen and London Gatwick.  In addition, the airline will increase its service to various American destinations from Europe starting next year.
On March 30, 2015, Norwegian will launch once a week non-stop Monday flights between Copenhagen and Orlando.
