Delta to Begin Los Angeles-San Antonio Service

Delta Air Lines announced plans Tuesday to launch a new route connecting Los Angeles, California with San Antonio, Texas.
The Atlanta-based airline will operate two daily non-stop flights between the two cities starting on April 7, 2015.  Delta recently announced plans to offer service between Los Angeles and Dallas and add an additional flight between Los Angeles and Austin, Texas.  The Dallas service begins November 3 and the third Austin flight …

Norwegian to Launch New Flights to Orlando

Norwegian Air Shuttle announced that next spring it will begin new service to Orlando from both Copenhagen and London Gatwick.  In addition, the airline will increase its service to various American destinations from Europe starting next year.
On March 30, 2015, Norwegian will launch once a week non-stop Monday flights between Copenhagen and Orlando.
The flights will operate using Boeing 787 Dreamliners.

Southwest to Begin Baltimore-Costa Rica Service

Southwest Airlines announced plans to launch a new route between Baltimore and San Jose, Costa Rica, on March 7 of next year.  The service is currently awaiting approval from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
If approved, flights will operate daily between Baltimore-Washington International Airport and Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose.

Aeromexico announced it will begin new, non-stop service between Mexico City and Managua, the capital city of Nicaragua, on December 10 of this year.  Flights are scheduled to operate three times a week, on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays.
From Mexico City, flights will depart at 8:30 a.m. and arrive in Managua at 11:15 a.m.  Flights from Managua to Mexico City will depart at 12:15 a.m. and arrive at 3:10 p.m.

Hong Kong Airlines announced it will begin new service between Hong Kong and Sapporo, Japan on December 19.  Flights will operate five times a week, using Airbus A330-200 aircraft.

British Airways to Launch A380 Superjumbo Service between San Francisco and London

British Airways said it will begin operating its San Francisco-London flights on an Airbus A380, the world’s largest passenger jet, next year.

Icelandair announced it will launch new seasonal non-stop service between Portland, Oregon and Reykjavik, Iceland on May 20, 2015.  The service will run through October 21, 2015, and will operate twice a week using Boeing 757-200 aircraft.
