JetBlue to Begin Seasonal New York-Palm Springs Flights

JetBlue Airways announced that it plans to launch new seasonal service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Palm Springs, California, this winter.  The carrier will operate the service five times a week, from January 15, 2016 to May 1.
The route is subject to government approval.

JAL to Launch Service Between Dallas and Tokyo Narita

Japan Airlines announced it will begin new service between Tokyo Narita and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on November 30.  The flights will be operated as a codeshare with American Airlines.
JAL will operate the service four times a week, using Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.
The carrier’s 787-8s that will be used on the route are outfitted with 38 suites in business class, 35 seats in premium economy, and 88 seats in economy.  …

British Airways to Begin San Jose, California-London Flights

British Airways announced that it plans to launch new service between Mineta San Jose International Airport  and London Heathrow on May 4, 2016.  San Jose will be the airline’s fourth destination in the state of California, after Los Angeles, San Francisco, and San Diego.

Delta, Virgin Atlantic to Introduce Salt Lake City-London, JFK-Edinburgh Service

Delta Air Lines and Virgin Atlantic Airways announced two new routes between the United States and the United Kingdom.  The flights are part of the airlines’ joint business venture and are set to launch next year.

American Airlines announced plans to discontinue its sole flight to Israel come next year.
