Marriott announced the opening of the Andell Inn on Kiawah Island, South Carolina.  The hotel is located in Freshfields Village, a new development on the island.
Guest residences have studio, one-, and two-bedroom layouts, each with a kitchen and living room.  Guests can also take advantage of the property’s salt water pool.

Hotels Face Credit Card Data Security Breach

White Lodging, a company that operates hotel franchises Marriott, Hilton, and Starwood Hotels, among others, is the latest to be a victim of online theft of customer data.  Other recent attacks have involved companies as varied as Target and Neiman Marcus.

Delta Air Lines topped the list of airlines expensed by business travelers in 2013, although the average Delta expenditure last year dropped 18% from the previous year.
Other vendors which were tops on their respective categories included Starbucks, Avis, and Marriott.
In 2013, the average expense reimbursement for travelers buying a ticket with Delta was $390.72, a far smaller amount than the $474.25 average in 2012.
