Marriott announced that the JW Marriott Houston Downtown Hotel will open in spring of next year. The hotel will open in the historic Samuel F. Carter Building, following an extensive renovation.

Marriott announced the opening of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai. At 72 stories and just 85 feet (26 meters) shorter than the Empire State Building, the property is the world’s tallest hotel.
