Eurowings to Launch Düsseldorf-Las Vegas Service Next July
Eurowings announced plans to offer thrice-weekly service between Düsseldorf and Las Vegas starting next summer.
The Lufthansa low-cost subsidiary will operate the flights using a combination of Airbus A330 and A340 aircraft. Both aircraft feature fully lie-flat seats in the carrier’s business-class cabin.
Flights from Düsseldorf Airport to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Return flights will operate on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Frankfurt Airport Evacuated Following Security Breach
A portion of Frankfurt Airport was evacuated on Tuesday after passengers who had tested positive for explosives at the security checkpoint were inadvertently allowed to continue into the secure area of the terminal.

Lufthansa announced the debut of its new Dream Collection bedding. The new items will be available on long-haul flights lasting over 10 1/2 hours.
The collection includes a new pillowcase, blanket, and mattress topper as well as new sleep shirts from Van Laack on night flights. The mattress topper was designed in partnership with Paradies, a German manufacturer of bedding to avoid heat buildup when in use.
