Lufthansa FlyNet Available to iPass Users

Lufthansa and Deutsche Telekom announced that iPass customers will be able to access the airline’s FlyNet in-flight Internet system on long-haul Lufthansa flights.
IPass Open Mobile users can use FlyNet through their Open Mobile Client and signing in with their credentials as usual.  The service will be available on Lufthansa’s entire long-haul fleet of over 100 aircraft.

Lufthansa Adds Mobile Phone Roaming Service to Long-Haul Fleet

Lufthansa said it has started to offer additional onboard connectivity via its FyNet service Thursday.
The German flag carrier announced that it has added technology from AeroMobile that allows passengers to use their own mobile phones via Lufthansa’s FlyNet system for texting and browsing the web.
The service does not support voice phone calls, however.
