Frankfurt Airport’s 2013/2014 Winter Timetable, which goes into effect this Sunday in tandem with the start of European Winter Time, will feature a variety of new destinations, as well as increased frequency of service on existing routes.

Lufthansa Orders 59 Airbus and Boeing Widebody Jets

Lufthansa announced plans to order 59 Airbus and Boeing aircraft on Thursday.  The order, valued at $19 billion at list price, is comprised of 34 Boeing 777-9X jets and 25 Airbus A350-900s.
The order makes Lufthansa the launch customer for the 777-9X mini-jumbo.  It includes 20 firm orders and 14 options.
