One of the best perks of being a frequent flyer is that one can earn miles or points that can then be redeemed for air travel. While for many, flying is no longer considered fun or glamorous, it may still appear to be so to friends and family. even if it is simply a way to get to and from work. What remains from flying, however, are the points and miles one accumulates and frequent travelers wish to put them to the best possible use.

Due to complicated fare rules, redeeming these miles is not always as simple as booking a ticket. The rules cover award bookings and present issues that may be applicable to only one or two airline programs.

Once again, Frequent Business Traveler is collaborating with FlyerTalk, the world’s largest online community, to reveal which aspects of the award redemption process bother the frequent flyer the most. To let us know, simply drag your biggest pet peeves to the top of the list and rank them in descending order.

The list we have compiled, with input from frequent travelers and members of FlyerTalk, only includes issues you could run into when trying to book an award. Other surveys have and will cover different air travel and frequent flyer program-related issues.

Once you are finished taking the poll, which will run through November 30, you are more than welcome to subscribe, or renew your subscription, to Frequent Business Traveler Weekly. This will give you the opportunity to win a piece of valuable airline memorabilia as well as keep current on Frequent Business Traveler news.
