JAL to Begin Offering In-Flight Internet Service on Domestic Routes

Japan Airlines announced it will introduce in-flight Wi-Fi on select domestic routes beginning July 23. The service will be provided by U.S. in-flight Internet provider Gogo on the airline’s newly refurbished Boeing aircraft, which will also feature new cabin interiors.

Japan Airlines Expands Codeshare with Finnair, British Airways

Japan Airlines announced the addition of new flights to its codeshare agreement with both Finnair and British Airways.  Beginning June 12, Japan Airlines will be able to place its code on Finnair-operated flights between Helsinki and Riga, Latvia, as well as on British Airways flights between London and Budapest.
Finnair’s flights between Helsinki and Riga operate five times a week, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.  From Helsinki, flights depart …

Japan Airlines, Qatar Airways to Begin New Codeshare

Japan Airlines announced it will launch a new codeshare agreement with Qatar Airways on June 18.  Under the agreement, Japan Airlines will be allowed to place its code on Qatar Airways-operated flights between Tokyo Haneda and Doha.
The new codeshare flights depart Tokyo Haneda daily at 1:00 a.m. and arrive in Doha at 6:00 a.m.  Flights from Doha to Tokyo depart at 7:35 a.m. and arrive at 11:25 p.m.

Japan Airlines announced it will introduce new dishes for premium economy- and economy-class passengers on select flights between Tokyo and various North American and European destinations beginning June 1.

Japan Airlines announced it expanded its existing codeshare agreements with Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airlines, and Jetstar Airways, an Australian carrier owned by Qantas Airways.  The expansion will, starting this month, allow Japan Airlines to place its code on various flights operated by the three carriers.
