JAL to Offer New Vegetarian Dishes on International Routes

Japan Airlines announced that it will offer new vegetarian meal options on select international routes beginning June 1.  The dishes will, for the most part, be available in all classes of service.

JAL, Jetstar Airways Expand Codeshare Agreement

Japan Airlines announced that it is expanding its codeshare agreement with Australian low-cost carrier Jetstar Airways.
Beginning May 12, passengers who purchase JAL premium economy class fares will be eligible to travel in business class on JAL codeshare flights operated by Jetstar.
In addition, JAL will be able place its flight number on Jetstar’s route between Tokyo Narita and Cairns, Australia.

JAL to Launch Codeshare with TAM Airlines

Japan Airlines announced that it plans to begin a codeshare agreement with Brazilian carrier TAM Airlines on March 25.
Under the agreement, JAL will be able to place its code on six TAM-operated international routes, as well as 21 TAM routes in Brazil.
In addition, members of JAL’s Mileage Bank loyalty program will be able to earn and redeem miles on the flights.

The St. Francis Hotel in San Francisco opened on March 21, 1904.  Notable individuals including Theodore Roosevelt, Helen Keller, Woodrow Wilson, Charlie Chaplin, Ronald Reagan, and Queen Elizabeth II have all stayed at the California property, which is in operation today as the Westin St. Francis.

American Express announced plans to offer some of its card members free access to Gogo in-flight Internet starting next year.
The Gogo Preferred Program, which will only be available from American Express, will give holders of the company’s Business Platinum Card ten Gogo in-flight passes per calendar year.
