American Airlines, Hyatt Hotels Announce Reciprocal Rewards Program

American Airlines and Hyatt Hotels announced a reciprocal rewards program that will allow members of one company’s loyalty program to earn rewards simultaneously with the other.
The program, which was unnamed at the time of publication, is reminiscent of Crossover Rewards, the program that Delta Air Lines and Starwood Hotels and Resorts announced in February 2013.

Marriott International introduced version 8.0 of its three apps, Starwood Preferred Guest, Marriott Rewards, and Ritz-Carlton Hotels.

With great fanfare, Marriott International launched its as-of-yet unnamed new guest loyalty program on August 18.
“Now you can reserve, earn and redeem across 6,500 extraordinary hotels,” Marriott said in a message on its website. “The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, Marriott Rewards, and SPG are now a unified program.”
