Anton Pozeg to Return to Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich as Schwarzreiter Executive Chef

Kempinski Hotels announced that Chef Anton Pozeg will become the new executive chef at the Schwarzreiter Tagesbar and Restaurant at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski.
Pozeg was with the hotel from 2010 through 2012, when he was executive sous chef. He was most recently the executive chef at another Kempinski property, the restaurant Edvard at the Palais Hansen Kempinski in Vienna.

Lufthansa announced the debut of “SmartDepart,” a new fast lane at Munich Airport that expedites passengers’ wait times at security.
The complimentary service is available daily, from 6 a.m. through 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. through 6:30 p.m., at Terminal 2 of the airport, to all passengers with one piece of luggage regardless of elite status traveling to Düsseldorf, Berlin Tegel, Frankfurt, and Hamburg.

MUNICH—A collision between a tour bus and a truck on a German Autobahn resulted in the death of 17 passengers on the bus as well as the bus driver. Thirty people were injured in the crash that occurred shortly after 7 a.m. local time in Southern Germany.

Lufthansa announced that it plans to offer new flights from both Frankfurt and Munich next summer, as well as increase its flights to existing destinations.
The carrier will begin service between Frankfurt and San Diego next year, with five weekly flights between the two cities.
