Japan Airlines announced it will introduce new menu items on select flights beginning this March.

Winter Storm Causes Numerous Cancellations, Delays in Northeast and Midwest

Yet another winter storm moved in on the Northeast from the Midwest Monday night, dumping snow, sleet, and freezing rain on many parts up the coast.  Some areas saw more precipitation Tuesday, causing hundreds of flight cancellations, and thousands of delays.

The world’s two leading aircraft manufacturers, Airbus and Boeing, took the opportunity at the Singapore Airshow to provide their view of the Asia Pacific market over the coming decades.

United Airlines Reports Decline in January Traffic

United Airlines announced operating results for January 2014.  The Chicago-based carrier said that its traffic in January 2014 decreased 1.6% year-over-year, while its capacity also decreased, by 2.8%.
Total system traffic for the month decreased to 15.228 billion revenue passenger miles, or RPMs, down from 15.470 billion RPMs in January 2013.  Consolidated capacity for January, expressed in available seat miles or ASMs, was 18.822 billion, a 2.8% decrease from the airline’s …
