Frankfurt Airport Reports Uptick in September Passenger Traffic

Fraport AG, the operator of Frankfurt Airport, announced traffic figures for September 2018.
Passenger traffic was approximately 6.6 million passengers for the month, a 6.3% increase from September 2017.
Frankfurt Airport also reported a 1.4% year-over-year decrease in cargo tonnage for September, with 185,142 metric tons of cargo passing through the facility.
Finally, Fraport said the number of aircraft movements for the month increased by 5.7% year-over-year to 45,950 takeoffs and landings.
