Air Canada to Introduce New Service Between Montreal and Raleigh

Air Canada announced plans to add new non-stop service from Montreal to Raleigh, North Carolina.
The Montreal-based carrier already offers non-stop service linking Toronto and Raleigh and it plans to use larger aircraft on that flight as well as on its service between Toronto and Charlotte.
The larger aircraft, Embraer E175s, will have a business-class cabin.

Air Canada announced the opening of a Maple Leaf Lounge at Saskatoon John G. Diefenbaker International Airport in Saskatchewan, Canada.
The new lounge is the airline’s 23rd and showcases local design and art, including artwork by two Saskatchewan artists, Shawn Evans and Holly Friesen.

Air Canada said Thursday that the airline had experienced a data breach that impacted personal information for approximately 20,000 customers.

A consortium led by Air Canada announced plans on Tuesday to acquire Aeroplan from Aimia. Aeroplan is the airline’s frequent flyer program although it was spun off from the carrier 13 years ago.
