Air Canada announced plans to introduce new non-stop daily seasonal flights between Calgary and London, Ontario.
The flights, which will be operated by Air Canada Rouge, will start on June 24, 2019 and continue through mid-October.

Air Canada Officially Reacquires Aeroplan Frequent Flyer Program

Air Canada said on Thursday that it had completed the acquisition of Aimia Canada, which owns Aeroplan.
Aeroplan is the airline’s frequent flyer program that it spun off 13 years ago.

Air Canada Acquisition of Aeroplan Gets Regulatory Green Light

The consortium led by Air Canada received notice that it had cleared regulatory requirements to acquire Aeroplan from Aimia. Aeroplan is the airline’s frequent flyer program although it was spun off from the carrier 13 years ago.
The Canadian Competition Bureau issued a “no action letter” and the consortium also received the required confirmation under the Canada Transportation Act.
