As a result of the worldwide grounding of Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced it would suspend service on certain international routes until at least May 31, 2013. The airline also has had to make numerous changes to its domestic flights as well.

United Announces Seasonal Service From Newark to Anchorage and Traverse City

United announced it will launch seasonal service to Anchorage and Traverse City, Michigan, from its hub at Newark Liberty International Airport this summer.  Service to Anchorage will use a Boeing 757 aircraft, while United Express service to Traverse City will use a 50-seat regional jet operated by ExpressJet.

Delta Air Lines and Starwood’s Westin Hotels & Resorts announced a partnership under which Delta will provide business-class passengers on BusinessElite international and transcontinental flights with selections from Westin’s Heavenly line of bedding products.

Marriott Hotel in Monaco to Open New Conference Center

The Riviera Marriott Hotel La Porte de Monaco will open its new conference center in March of this year.  The new space will consist of eight separate venues.
The meeting center will have a total of 6,501 square feet (604 square meters).  This includes Monaco’s largest ballroom, at 3,616 square feet (336 square meters), with seating for 200 guests or room for 400 for a cocktail reception.

A new hotel, the Hotel Ballard, will open in Seattle in May of this year.  The hotel is named for the Northwestern Seattle neighborhood in which it is located.
