Air Canada Reports Data Breach Impacting Customer Information

Air Canada said Thursday that the airline had experienced a data breach that impacted personal information for approximately 20,000 customers.
The data “may potentially have been improperly accessed” via the airline’s mobile app and Air Canada is requiring a password change for all of its 1.7 million accounts as a precaution before customers can access their accounts.

American Airlines to Close 3 Admirals Clubs

American Airlines, which has been investing heavily in updating its lounges, announced Wednesday it is shuttering three of them.
The lounges in question are the Admirals Clubs at Bradley International Airport in Hartford, Connecticut; Piedmont Triad International Airport in Greensboro, North Carolina; and Simón Bolívar International Airport in Caracas, Venezuela.

The American Airlines CR Smith Museum will reopen to the public on Labor Day Weekend following a four-month renovation and the installation of new exhibits, its executive director said.
