Now the most popular tourist attraction in Munich, the BMW Welt opened its doors on October 17, 2007 with 800 guests in attendance, followed by a Tag der Öffenen Tür – or Open House – on …

Review and Test Drive: 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2.4 GT AWC

The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport – which should not be confused with the Mitsubishi Outlander (yes, I know) was first introduced in 1991 as the RVR, which stands for Recreation Vehicle Runner, in its home market of Japan and was sold in the United States under several Chrysler nameplates between 1992 and 1996 including the Plymouth Vista Colt wagon.
Now in its third generation – after a hiatus between 2002 and 2010 …

While I’ve always admired Volvo from afar, it wasn’t until the launch of the new 90 Series, specifically the XC90 and the S90 that quickly followed it, that I actually lusted after one.
All 90 Series vehicles are built on the automaker’s global platform, SPA or Scalable Product Architecture. They all share numerous features and characteristics both inside and out, including a 9” tablet-like touch screen for infotainment and climate control …

Review and Test Drive: 2020 Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro and Nightshade Edition

If you want a bit of fun, park your Army Green Toyota 4Runner TRD Pro somewhat adjacent to an off-road trail or gravel road.  For even more fun, wear a safety vest and hold a large walkie-talkie in your hand. For no good reason whatsoever, almost every car turning off will stop in your vicinity and the driver will ask if he may proceed.
For one week, I felt as if I …

Review and Test Drive: 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SEL S-AWC

The Mitsubishi Eclipse is permanently enshrined in my personal hall of fame of marketers. Why?  The automaker hitched its wagon, perhaps quite literally, to what was truly rather remarkable total solar eclipse that traveled across entire continental United States for the first time in almost a century in the summer of 2017 to launch the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse.  Mitsubishi livestreamed the eclipse to ensure no one would miss it and …
