Intercontinental Hotels Group announced it will open a new Indigo brand property in New York City’s Financial District in 2016.  The Hotel Indigo NYC Financial District will be located just one block away from the new One World Trade Center.

New Indigo Hotel to Open in Rome

InterContinental Hotels Group announced it will open a new Indigo brand hotel in Rome, Italy this month. The Hotel Indigo Rome – St. George will be the first Indigo brand property to open in the country.
The hotel will have 64 rooms, combining contemporary Italian design with Renaissance features. All rooms will have complimentary Wi-Fi and iPod docking stations.

Hong Kong Airlines Expands Service to Okinawa and Hangzhou

Hong Kong Airlines announced the launch of additional flights between Hong Kong and both Okinawa and Hangzhou.  The airline added one extra daily flight to its existing Hong Kong-Okinawa service, bringing the total to two daily flights, and one additional flight to its twice daily Hong Kong-Hangzhou service, bringing the number up to three flights a day.

Mesa to End Go Hawaiian Operations April 1

Mesa Air Group announced it will shutter its Go Hawaiian operation effective April 1 of this year.
Passengers booked on Go Hawaiian between April 1 and June 30 of this year will either be re-booked on Hawaiian Airlines or receive a refund.

El Al Israel Airlines announced that it will make enhancements to its first- and business-class cabins on four of its Boeing 747-400 aircraft.  The airline expects the upgrades to be completed by May of this year.

Hyatt to Open New Hotel in Guadalajara, Mexico

Hyatt announced it will open the Hyatt Regency Andares Guadalajara in Mexico in late 2016. The property will be the fifth Hyatt Regency hotel in the country.
The 220-room property will have two restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, and an indoor pool.  In addition, 29,000 square feet (2,694 square meters) of meeting and event space will be located on the premises.
