All Nippon Airways, Japan’s largest airline, announced financial results for the first three quarters of the 2013 fiscal year.  The airline reported net income of ¥33.31 billion, a 36.2% year-over-year decrease.  Operating revenue for this same period was ¥1.212  trillion, a 7.1% increase.

London Underground Union Workers to Stage Strikes

Two UK transportation unions – the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) Union and the Transport Salaried Staffs’ Association (TSSA) – called for two 48-hour strikes.  The strikes will affect London Underground (Tube) service in the next two weeks.
