United 787 Dreamliner Diverts After Mechanical Problem

A United Airlines Boeing 787 Dreamliner bound for Tokyo was diverted to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, after its pilots were alerted to a problem with the airliner’s oil filter.
Flight 139 had departed Denver and was over Vancouver when it turned back towards Seattle and landed safely shortly thereafter. The 200 passengers on board are being accommodated in Seattle and will be bound for Tokyo on Wednesday.
