JetBlue Airway announced the appointment of Dave Clark to the position of head of revenue and planning.

Scott Laurence, who currently serves in that role, is leaving the airline after 14 years with the company.

Mr. Clark is currently vice president of sales and revenue management at the carrier. He joined JetBlue in 2009 as director of route planning.

“Dave’s career at JetBlue has been filled with remarkable accomplishments,” said the airline’s president, Joanna Geraghty, in a statement.

In his new role, Mr. Clark will oversee JetBlue’s new Northeast Alliance partnership with American Airlines as well as other partnerships, and will also be responsible for the carrier’s network strategy and operational planning.

Prior to joining JetBlue, he was a project leader at the Boston Consulting Group, which he joined in September 2000 after attending the University of Virginia, where he studied systems engineering.
