United Airlines announced that it plans to add dozens of new flights to bring attendees and exhibitors to and from the 2022 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

CES 2022 takes place from January 5 through January 8, 2022.

The Chicago-based airline said it will add 14 new non-stop flights linking Las Vegas’ recently-renamed Harry Reid International Airport with airports in Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and San Jose, California.  It will also add 30 flights from its hubs in Los Angeles, Newark, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C.

“The return of in-person conferences and events is a very positive sign in the pandemic recovery, and United is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this increase in demand,” said the airline’s vice president of domestic flight planning, Ankit Gupta, who added that the airline believes its customers “are eager to reunite with clients and colleagues” at the show.

United said that the additional flights comprise 80% of the capacity increase United added for the 2020 CES show.
