Burger King Rolls Out ‘Royal Perks’ Loyalty Program Nationwide
Burger King announced plans to roll out its loyalty program nationwide.
The company’s Royal Perks program gives customers ten “Crowns” for every dollar spent at the chain’s restaurants. Members of the program will be able to redeem their points for the majority of items on the menu. Royal Perks members will also receive free daily special offers, such as larger drinks or portions of French fries.
In addition, members will earn double the number of Crowns during their birthday month.
Finally, Royal Perks members will be eligible to earn extra points and, what the chain termed, “exclusive rewards” via challenges and other activities.
Members must place their orders via the app or the chain’s website in order to be credited for the purchase. Delivery orders placed using the app are eligible to receive Crowns.
The company said that two-thirds of its U.S. restaurants are currently on track to offer rewards to customers by October.
Burger King first launched the Royal Perks program in February 2021 in three markets.
Competitor McDonald’s, which started testing its own loyalty program in several parts of the country including Arizona, Nevada, and New England last year, announced a nationwide rollout of the program in June.
