Wyndham Hotels and Resorts outlined its plans for new properties it will open in 2021 in multiple cities across the globe.

The news comes on the heels of an expansion of the Ramada by Wyndham brand in Europe in 2020, which included properties in Budapest, Leeds, Madrid, and Valencia.  Other new properties that opened in 2020 were in Germany, India, Parkistan, and Turkey.

In 2021, the hotelier plans to open the Wyndham Nicosia in Cyprus at the end of the year. The Nicosia will be the chain’s first property in the island nation.

Wyndham also said it would expand the chain’s Trademark Collection in Europe this year, starting with the opening of the Hotel Avenue Louise Brussels in March, to be followed by additional Trademark openings in Budapest and Düsseldorf later in the year. The soft-brand collection is comprised of independent hotels and was introduced in 2017.

The chain said it plans to open new Ramada properties in Romania and India, including the Ramada by Wyndham Gangtok Deorali Hotel and Casino and the Ramada Varanasi Katesar.  In Turkey, where Wyndham is the country’s largest hotel brand, the chain will open seven new properties this year.

Finally, Wyndham said it will open the Wyndham Garden Burabay in Kazakhstan, the Ramada Encore by Wyndham Tashkent in Uzbekistan, and a new Ramada in Tbilisi, Georgia.
