FedEx announced it would reinstate its money-back guarantee on U.S. shipments.

The move comes on the heels of a similar move by UPS on Monday.

“The status of money-back guarantee for these FedEx services and additional FedEx services worldwide is being evaluated on an ongoing basis, and our focus remains on continuing to provide the best possible service to our customers during this period of uncertainty,” the company said in a statement.

The Memphis-based delivery services company had suspended its money-back guarantee for delayed shipments 13 months ago amidst the start of the coronavirus pandemic. The action applies to U.S. domestic and U.S. import/export shipments, FedEx said.

UPS reinstated its money-back guarantee for its Next Day Air and Worldwide Express services.
