United Airlines announced the appointment of Doreen Burse to the position of senior vice president, worldwide sales.

Ms. Burse is currently vice president of global sales for United States and Canada at Marriott International and has spent the majority of her career – over 33 years – at the hotel chain.

She will join the airline on March 1, 2021.  Once there, she will report to Andrew Nocella, the airline’s chief commercial officer, and will be responsible for the airline’s global sales strategy including partnerships and revenue.

Mr. Nocella called her “a change agent,” and cited her “results-driven focus” and “collaborative style,” saying she will help United “navigate the evolving needs of corporate customers as they return to the skies in force as the pandemic recedes.”
