JetBlue Airways introduced the cabin design of its new fleet of Airbus 220-300 aircraft.
The cabin features LED mood lighting, lavatories with tile patterns reminiscent of New York City subways, front and rear panels with patterns inspired by Morse code, and larger windows than previous aircrafts.
The A220 features 140 Collins Meridian seats that have a width of 18.6” (47.24 cm). The seats also have adjustable headrests, seatback storage, and power outlets for all passengers. They are arranged in 2-3 configuration.
The in-flight entertainment system includes free high speed Wi-Fi as well as high definition screens at every seat offering 30 channels including HBO and Showtime.
The A220-300 will enter service at JetBlue in spring.
