American Airlines Giving Every Member of its AAdvantage Frequent-Flyer Program a Gift
American Airlines is surprising all of the members of its AAdvantage frequent-flyer program with a gift.
The action is part of the airline’s “Our Greatest Gift is You” promotion.
“Our members are truly our greatest gift,” said Rick Elieson, the head of the program. “It’s our way of showing thanks.”
The gifts will range from a one-day pass to the Admirals Club lounge, a complimentary Main Cabin Extra seat, or additional award miles.
“Claim your holiday surprise, unlock a bonus offer and enter for a chance to win,“ the airline greeted members with on the website.
To unwrap the gift, so to speak, members merely have to navigate to the Promotions tab, the airline said.
The guests were sometimes just a gesture, however. Two AAdvantage members who requested anonymity told FBT they had each received 100 AAdvantage miles.
