President Trump Saturday said he is considering an “enforceable quarantine” in New York, New Jersey, and parts of Connecticut.  The quarantine would restrict travel from these areas.

The president made the announcement in a gaggle with White House reporters.

He said he might make a decision at some point on Saturday.

The news comes as the United States reports over 112,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and almost 1,900 deaths.

The president declined to comment further on his earlier pronouncement that the country would reopen by Easter. “We’ll see what happens,” he told reporters.
