Nobu Hotels to Open Properties in Chicago, London, Riyadh, and Warsaw

Nobu Hotels announced plans to open new locations later this year in Chicago,London, Riyadh, and Warsaw.

The 119-key Chicago property will be located in the West Loop neighborhood, an area known for its restaurants and nightlife.  The Warsaw location will be on the Ulica Wilcza, or Wolf Street in English, in the city center.  The Nobu Hotel Riyadh will be a new 23-story tower that the company said will reflect Nobu’s Japanese heritage with a nod to arabesque architecture.

In London, the 259-key Nobu Hotel will be located on Portman Square in the West End within walking distance of Mayfair.

The hotelier also expects to complete a complete renovation of the Nobu Hotel Palo Alto this year.

Nobu, which started with a single restaurant in New York City in 1994, now has over 17 properties. The first Nobu hotel opened within Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas in 2013 and the company now has 17 hotels and a total of 40 locations. It was founded by actor Robert De Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and movie producer Meir Teper.
