Southwest Airlines to Offer Additional Flights for Super Bowl

Southwest Airlines announced flights for football fans traveling to the Super Bowl in Miami.

The Super Bowl is scheduled to take place Sunday, Februrary 2 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The National Football Conference champion San Francisco 49ers will face the American Football Conference champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The Dallas-based airline will offer three additional non-stop flights to Fort Lauderdale from Kansas City on January 31, for a total of five, and one new non-stop flight from San Jose to Fort Lauderdale on that date, in addition to connecting and one-stop service that the airline already provides.

For football fans traveling on February 2, the Super Bowl will be available for viewing via the Southwest inflight Entertainment Portal.

Southwest will offer similar return flights on February 3, 2020 to transport football fans back home.
