The 178-key property is in the city’s Logan Circle district and will reopen this summer under the new name.

The restaurant will offer dishes that pay homage to the area’s jazz heritage, the hotelier said. Other dining options a glass-enclosed outdoor patio connected to the restaurant, a rooftop bar, and a “indoor/outdoor” coffee bar.  It will also offer more than 5,000 square feet (465 square meters) of meeting and event space including a 1,695-square-foot (157-square-meter) ballroom.

The property will be home to a gallery of work by local artists and local galleries and institutions will help create a rotating art exhibition in the hotel itself.
