Hawaiian Airlines Records Increase in Traffic, Capacity, Load Factor for December 2019

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for December 2019.

The airline reported that it carried 1,003,383 passengers in December, a year-over-year increase of 2.2% from 981,571 in the same period last year.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.57 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 7.7% from 1.46 billion RPMs in December 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 5.4% to 1.83 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.74 billion ASMs last December.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 85.9%, a 1.9 percentage point increase from 84% the previous December.
