Brazilian airline Azul announced plans to introduce daily non-stop service to New York City from São Paulo this spring.

The flights will operate from São Paulo’s Viracopos/Campinas International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York. The Big Apple will be the airline’s third destination in the United States, after Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.

Azul will operate the flight using Airbus A330 aircraft. The A330 features 20 fully lie-flat seats in a 1-2-1 configuration in the Azul Xtra business-class cabin, 100 seats in the premium-economy lite section, and 151 in coach.  Seats in business class are 21” in width  and extend into a 79” bed.  Seats in the premium-economy lite section offer seat pitch of 34” versus 31” in coach.

The Sky Sofa in the premium-economy lite section extends over four seats, creating a full-length bed.

All seats have electrical outlets, USB ports, and individual touchscreen dispalys for the in-flight entertainment system.
