Alaska Airlines announced the promotion of three executives who will be involved in improving what the carrier terms the “guest experience” at the airline.

The airline appointed Sangita Woerner to the position of senior vice president of marketing and guest experience.

Ms. Woerner joined the airline in 2015 and is currently vice president of marketing.  The promotion will allow her to broaden her focus on “ensuring excellence in the end-to-end guest experience,” the airline said.

In addition, the airline appointed Charu Jain to the position of senior vice president of merchandising and innovation, a new role, and Vikram Baskaran to the position of vice president of information technology services.

Ms. Jain is currently the airline’s vice president of information technology services and Mr. Baskaran, who succeeds her, is currently a managing director at the carrier.

Finally, the airline announced the appointment of Kyle Levine to the position of senior vice president of legal and general counsel.    Mr. Levine is currently managing director for legal and deputy general counsel.
