Mrs. Maisel and Lexus will be celebrating Hanukkah in New York City in partnership with Amazon Prime Video at the automaker’s restaurant, Mishiguene at Intersect by Lexus.

Put that on your plate.

“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”-themed celebration will start on the first night of Hanukkah, December 22, with a menorah lighting ceremony and a tasting of a Mishiguene-created cocktail, Friday Night Lights, made with Manischewitz wine.  Throughout the eight marvelous nights of Hanukkah, the restaurant will offer “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” gifts including pink menorahs on the first night of the holiday, and pink dreidels on the fifth night.

On December 23, the restaurant’s executive chef, Nickolaus Martinez, will hold a latkes making demonstration at noon, followed by a present-wrapping workshop.

Mishiguene is the Argentine transliteration for the Yiddish word “meshugene,” i.e. crazy.  This is the name Chef Tomás Kalika, known for his interpretation of dishes of the Jewish diaspora, chose for his restaurant in Buenos Aires, and for its outpost in New York City at Intersect by Lexus.
