One year after opening a location in Maui, Sixt Rent-a-Car announced the opening of its new location in Honolulu. The opening at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport brings the company to over 50 locations in the United States.

At its second location in the Hawaiian Islands, Sixt is offering a selection of convertibles and SUVs including vehicles by Mercedes-Benz, Range Rover, and Volkswagen.

Founded near Munich in 1912, Sixt was the first car-rental agency in Munich and is the largest car rental company in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Israel. It is the fourth largest car rental agency in the United States, with over 50 U.S. locations including branches in Union Square in San Francisco and Chicago O’Hare as well as at Miami International, Seattle-Tacoma International, San Diego International, Tampa International airports, and in Battery Park in New York City.

Sixt, the second largest rental car company in Europe, first entered the U.S. market in 2011.
