Australian flag carrier Qantas and the Air France-KLM Group announced enhancements to their codeshare and frequent-flyer partnership.

The move allows members of Qantas’ Frequent Flyer loyalty program to use points to purchase award flights on Air France- and KLM-operated flights and earn points when flying on Air France and KLM flights, while members of the Flying Blue Air France-KLM program can earn miles as well as Experience Points when flying on Qantas.  Flying Blue members can also redeem award miles for Qantas flights.

Qantas Frequent Flyer members with Gold status or higher will be eligible to access priority check-in and boarding on Air France and KLM flights, while Flying Blue elite members will be eligible for such benefits on Qantas flights.
