JetBlue Airways announced plans to introduce shuttle-like non-stop service linking New York’s LaGuardia Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.

The New York-based airline will offer up to ten daily flights in each direction starting next spring.  JetBlue will operate the flights using Embraer E190 aircraft with 100 seats including 16 in the airline’s Even More Space premium-economy lite space.  The service will include complimentary snacks and beverages as well as satellite television programming.

The move comes as part of the airline’s expansion in Boston.

In total, JetBlue will offer a total of 22 daily flights from Boston to New York’s three major airports including John F. Kennedy International and Newark Liberty International.
