Air Canada Launches Non-Stop Service Linking Montreal and Brazil

Air Canada announced the start of non-stop service between Montreal and São Paulo on Thursday.

The thrice-weekly flights will operate through March 27, 2020.

The airline will operate the service using Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, equipped with 21 lie-flat seats in business class, 21 seats in premium economy, and 247 seats in economy. Business-class seats are 21” wide and have a pitch of 80”.

Air Canada also operates non-stop service from Toronto to Brazil’s largest city and financial hub.

Earlier in the year, Brazil dropped the requirement for visitors from Canada, the United States, Japan, and Australia to obtain a visa in order to visit the country.
