The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the government agency that operates the airport, announced a partnership with with ride-hailing company Via to offer a new option for travelers leaving the airport.

For a $15 flat-rate fee, passengers arriving at Terminals C and D at the airport can take a pooled ride to any destination in Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens. For trips to the boroughs of Staten Island and the Bronx, the flat fee $20.

The service, called LGA Connect, is currently in a pilot program. Via will have a special LGA Connect option on its app.

The pool option will work similar to the way Uber Pool works in pairing passengers traveling in the same direction.
