JetBlue Adds New Seat to Board, Appoints Tech Industry Exec

IMG_8285JetBlue Airways announced the appointment of Vivek Sharma to its board of directors.

Sharma is the founder of InStride, an enterprise education and learning company.  He previously served as a senior vice president of digital guest experiences at Walt Disney.

“Our customers, crewmembers and shareholders will benefit from his expertise and perspective as we continue to diversify and strengthen JetBlue’s business, in part through technology innovation,” said Joel Peterson, chairman of the airline’s board of directors, referencing Sharma.

The appointment of Sharma brings the total number of board members at JetBlue to 12, up one from 11
