Hawaiian Air Posts Gain in Traffic and Capacity for October

Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for October 2019.
The airline reported that it carried 986,611 passengers in October, a year-over-year increase of 1% from 971,817 in the same period last year.
Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.53 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 5% from 1.46 billion RPMs in October 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 2.1% to 1.74 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.70 billion ASMs last October.
Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 88%, a 2.4 percentage point increase from 85.6% the previous October.
