Hawaiian Airlines Records Increase in Traffic, Capacity, Load Factor for September

IMG_9879Hawaiian Airlines announced operational results for September 2019.

The airline reported that it carried 931,280 passengers in September, a year-over-year increase of 1.4% from 918,715 in the same period last year.

Traffic for the Honolulu-based carrier during the month was 1.49 billion RPMs, or revenue passenger miles, an increase of 3% from 1.45 billion RPMs in September 2018. The carrier’s total capacity for the month was up 0.7% to 1.74 billion ASMs, or available seat miles, from 1.73 billion ASMs last September.

Meanwhile, Hawaiian’s consolidated load factor was 85.5%, a 1.9 percentage point increase from 83.6% the previous September.
