Hyatt to Reflag Two IHG Properties in Manchester

DSC_2951 (1)Hyatt Hotels said Monday that it plans to open two a dual-branded property in Manchester next year.

The hotelier will open the 212-key Hyatt Regency Manchester Oxford Road and the 116-key Hyatt House Manchester/Oxford Road in the Lume, a building that also houses two restaurants, reflagging two InterContinental Hotels Group properties currently operating in the building.

Both the Crowne Plaza Manchester Oxford Road and the Staybridge Suites Manchester – Oxford Road will close in early January, when Hyatt takes over the management contract.

The Hyatt Regency Manchester will feature a 120-seat restaurant, a separate bar, Hyatt Club lounge, and a 24-hour fitness center.   It will have seven meeting spaces that can accommodate over 200 attendees.

The Lume is ideally located in the Oxford Road area and is within walking distance of the city center and the Manchester Oxford Road railway station.
